NOVEMBER 23, 2005 (AUSTIN, TEXAS) – Marc Gunn and the Dubliners' Tabby Cats will give a benefit concert at Grapevine Market on December 14, 2005. Shadowcats, a non-profit all volunteer group of individuals dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned, feral, stray, and injured cats, will host the concert as a holiday benefit to raise money for the organization.

The event begins at 5:30pm and costs $55 which indlues wine tasting, food, enteratinment and silent auction. Grapevine Market is located at 7938 Great North Boulevard in Austin.

"Cats provide us with love, affection and inspiration for songs," said Gunn, "so we want to return the favor by helping all the homeless cats out there."

About The Band: The Dubliners' Tabby Cats, brainchild of songwriter Marc Gunn, specialize in humorous songs about felines. Members include veteran performers from other bands, including the Brobdingnagian Bards and the Bedlam Bards. The Tabby Cats' first album, Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers, was released on October 25, 2005.
