I don't remember if I've played this band's new CD in the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast yet, but Ceann, the smartass Celtic folk rock drinking group from Pittsburgh recently released their second album, Rave, Rant, Loose Pants.
If you heard their first album, Almost Irish, you know that they have some really witty and bastardly lyrics that crack me up every time I hear them. From songs like:
"Where's your eye patch?
Where's your peg leg?
If you're a pirate, where's your gun?
Where's your booty? Your sassy parrot.
By sassy parrot I don't mean your bitchy friends.
Cuz you're the worst pirate,
the worst pirate in the world.
You're the worst pirate,
the worst pirate in the world
Cuz you're a girl."
Well, their latest album has a fine helping of smartass comments as well. So if you want to laugh and drink with music like the Brobdingnagian Bards, or if you like the non-PCness of Avenue Q, then you'll love this band.

I never heard of them prior to this year, but 2 weeks ago, we saw them perform at the Celtic Fling Ceilidh in Manheim, PA. We laughed our asses off when they did "Pretty on the Inside".
